Product Overview
The UCP series represents the most versatile and widely used standard product line among Pillow block Bearings. These units feature a vertical, rectangular-base housing secured by two bolts to a horizontal mounting surface parallel to the shaft, supporting the rotating shaft from below. They are supplied ready-to-use, with the insert ball bearing already pressed into the cast-iron housing and pre-filled with grease and seals.
The Pillow block Bearings are essentially a variant of Deep Groove Ball Bearings; they are characterized by a spherical outer diameter surface on the outer ring, allowing them to fit into a corresponding concave spherical seat within the bearing housing to provide self-aligning capability. These bearings are primarily designed to accommodate combined radial and axial loads—with radial loads predominating—and are generally unsuitable for bearing axial loads in isolation.

Pillow Block Bearing is a bearing unit combined roller bearing and housing together. Most of the outer spherical bearings are made outer diameter sphere, installation and imported bearing bore together with a spherical structure forms, versatility and interchangeability.
They can be classified into three types based on the locking method: UC (set screw), UEL (eccentric sleeve), and UK (adapter sleeve).
Structural Features
The housing is cast as a single piece from gray cast iron (HT200) and features a rectangular base with two elongated bolt holes, allowing for minor positional adjustments.
Internally fitted with a UC-type spherical outer ring ball bearing (secured via set screws); UEL (eccentric locking collar) or UK (adapter sleeve) variants are also available.
The spherical outer surface of the bearing mates with the spherical bore of the housing, enabling self-alignment.
Standardly equipped with a grease nipple (M6/M8/M10) on the side of the cast iron housing to facilitate re-lubrication.
Optional end covers (ECY/ECW/ECB series) can be fitted to both sides for enhanced protection.
